This 3 hours course will prepare you to recognize severe, life-threatening bleeding emergencies and to take action to stop the flow of blood. You will learn how and when to control bleeding by applying a tourniquet and hemostatic dressing.

The course language is french. Translation in German or English can be requested.

Description

This is course is designed for shooters in order to react efficiently to a crisis involving woundees.

Course goals :

  • Secure the incident scene
  • Stop the bleeding using a tourniquet
  • React to junctional wounds
  • React to thoracic wounds
  • Protect the patient from the environment while evacuating him.

 

This course is recognised by the Fédération Suisse de Tir Dynamique (FSTD) for the Security Officer (SO) certification.

Cancellation conditions

The Chocolate Warfare staff provides this course on a voluntary basis, which is why trainees are asked to ensure their presence. A late cancellation deprives a place for another participant. We therefore have the following cancellation policy:

  • Full refund if the cancellation takes place more than one week before the start of the course.
  • Partial refund of 50% if the cancellation takes place less than a week before the start of the course.
  • No refund if the cancellation takes place less than 48 hours before the start of the course.
